Ray Bradbury Prophesied The NeoCon Incorporation of Religion

"I often wonder if God recognizes His own son the way they've dressed him up, or is it dressed him down?  He's a regular peppermint stick now, all sugar-crystal and saccharine when he isn't making veiled references to certain commercial products that every worshiper absolutely needs."  - 1951 Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451

Professor Alan Dershowitz on the Non-Christian Motivations of the Constitution and the Founding Fathers

This is an excellent talk given by Alan Dershowitz on the non-Christian motivations of the founding father's of the United States. While I don't agree with Professor Dershowitz concerning all of his political stances regarding religion in society, I learned a great deal from this talk about the deistic nature of the founding fathers, particularly regarding Thomas Jefferson and his criticisms of Christianity.
